Pragma FortressSSH

Pragma Systems' FortressSSH is the industry leader in bringing ssh servers to the Windows platforms. FortressSSH was the first ssh designed for Windows commercially available. Now FortressSSH is the first ssh server available in 64-bit. Secure Shell (SSH) is a de-facto industry standard for remote access of systems over a secure connection using strong cryptography. A serious problem with current popular tools like telnet and FTP is that they transfer password and data in clear text on the net thus compromising security. As a result, most secure UNIX and LINUX systems are managed over ssh sessions which encrypts password and all data exchanges. With Pragma's FortressSSH product, Windows systems can now be managed over secure ssh sessions just like high end UNIX or LINUX systems are. Use of FortressSSH virtually eliminates the risk of remote management as all session data are encrypted using strong ciphers with keys exchanged dynamically using RSA\DSA public key algorithms.

The Pragma FortressSSH package contains a full-featured SSH Server (sshd) and a Secure File Transfer Server (sftp-server) for Windows above 2000, and full-featured Secure Shell client, Secure File Transfer Client and SCP (Secure Copy Program) are included, which can run in any Windows environment.

SSH protocol was created by SSH Communications Security of Finland. It is a widely used standard and available in most platforms for the security it offers. Secure Shell protocol has been submitted to IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force) for establishing it as "SecSh" secure shell standard.
